The magnet itself consists of samarium cobalt.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eA lot of attention was also paid to protection against noise and vibration. A special surface magnet system reduces the level of external noise, and the cantilever is additionally protected from unwanted vibrations by an external housing. The aluminum housing is painted in deep red, LUXMAN's house color. The inner walls of the housing are curved – again, to reduce resonances and reflected sounds.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe LMC-5 weighs 8.5 g, the recommended tracking force is 2.1-2.2 g, the output voltage is 0.4 mV.
