One of the new members of the steadily growing Smart family is called Smart GLE 9 and fits perfectly into the existing family portfolio. The attractive housing is subtly elegant: Painted fronts and white or black foiled housings give the Smart GLE 9 a high-quality appearance. Of course, great importance was also placed on the workmanship of this very attractively priced loudspeaker. Place the loudspeakers in your living room, connect them to the power and feed them with musical or cinematic fare from any source device. The Smart GLE 9 is equipped with numerous inputs: Starting with analog connections in XLR or cinch versions and digital variants in coaxial or optical design, via the USB interface with XMOS for computers up to wireless playback via Bluetooth with apt-X, everything is on board.

The brand-new Smart GLE 9 incorporates the musical and technical genes from the bestsellers of the GLE series. At an enticingly low price, you are offered a full-grown pair of floor-standing loudspeakers with up-to-date technology and the most modern features of our Smart loudspeakers. Four powerful and dynamic drivers are distributed on the slim baffle, which is 107 centimeters high. Thanks to the narrow cabinet width of only 21 centimeters, the Smart GLE 9 remains extremely living-room-friendly. A powerful amplifier module with 350 watts of power is integrated into each loudspeaker. This means you no longer need external amplifiers, and as soon as you connect a source to one of the many inputs, you can immediately start enjoying music and movies. Whether classic wired or modern wireless is entirely up to you.

Convincing sound in all situations

This is ensured by the high-quality aluminum mid-range and bass drivers and the excellent aluminum-manganese tweeter dome. Bass power, dynamics, and pressure are delivered by the two 192 mm woofers in the large bass reflex volume, which receives low-frequency support through an optimally tuned bass reflex channel. Computer simulations resulted in the multi-curved wave surrounds, which allow for a large excursion and show fewer partial vibrations at high frequencies. This enables the Smart GLE 9 to achieve very high sound pressure levels without sound distortion. The 25 mm tweeter offers excellent dispersion characteristics due to its transmission front plate and its sound-optimized metal protection grille.

The Smart GLE 9 loudspeakers are great entertainers. As a stereo pair, they sound amazingly good with music and take their listeners into virtual worlds at the touch of a button. The Smart GLE 9 also understands multi-channel audio formats and, when connected to a TV, becomes a powerful home cinema system – Virtual Surround makes it possible. Thanks to the display with scrolling text on the front of the loudspeaker, you are always informed about the operating modes. And with other Smart models, you can quickly build a sonically outstanding 4.0 home cinema system that virtually renders the center channel for best dialogue intelligibility.
