With the AT-VM740xML/H, Audio-Technica introduces a high-quality combo set, consisting of the AT-VM740xML dual moving magnet cartridge and the pre-mounted AT-LT10 universal headshell. This combination was developed to ensure the highest precision, excellent channel separation, and detailed music reproduction – ideal for discerning listeners and audiophile applications.
The AT-VM740xML cartridge is based on the proven dual moving magnet principle, which mimics the design of a cutting head for vinyl master records. Two precisely positioned magnets reproduce the geometry of the groove walls, allowing for precise tracking with excellent channel separation and extended frequency response.
The Microlinear stylus traces the record groove with the highest accuracy and reduces distortion even in the inner grooves. The tapered, hollow aluminum cantilever ensures minimal mass at the stylus tip and precise signal transmission.
Thanks to the para-toroidal coil construction with dual PCUHD® copper coils (Pure Copper Ultra High Drawability), the cartridge excels with excellent transient response and the finest detail resolution.
The low-resonance die-cast aluminum housing minimizes unwanted vibrations and ensures maximum stability.
Integrated threaded inserts facilitate mounting, while the V-shaped cutout of the protective cap allows for a precise view of the stylus – ideal for exact handling and safe operation.
The pre-mounted AT-LT10 die-cast aluminum headshell provides a solid base, is lightweight, torsion-resistant, and equipped with oxygen-free OFC cables to ensure lossless signal transmission.
