The AT-VM95C/H is part of Audio-Technica's successful VM95 series and, as a complete system, offers an excellent entry into the world of high-quality vinyl playback. The cartridge is based on the proven AT-VM95C, which delivers a warm, clear, and natural sound with its conical, bonded diamond stylus.
As a Dual Moving Magnet cartridge, the AT-VM95C is designed to track the groove with particular precision – just like a cutting head. The result is an authentic sound image with stable channel balance and detailed spatiality.
A outstanding feature of the series is the complete stylus compatibility within the VM95 range: All six models share the same housing, making the stylus easy to replace. This means the AT-VM95C can be upgraded at any time with a higher-quality stylus (e.g., elliptical, Microlinear, or Shibata) – without replacing the entire cartridge.
The system comes pre-mounted on the robust AT-HS6BK headshell, whose die-cast aluminum housing minimizes unwanted vibrations while allowing for easy handling. The headshell weighs 9g and, with its elongated mounting slots, offers precise adjustment for almost all turntables with SME-compatible mounts.
Thanks to the integrated M2.6 threaded inserts, mounting is particularly easy – entirely without nuts. The aluminum cantilever ensures clean signal transmission and high stability, while the low-resonance design guarantees undisturbed music playback.
