MDC – Future-Proof Modular System
MDC, short for Modular Design Construction, is NAD's solution to Hi-Fi systems becoming outdated too quickly. Particularly, technologies for A/V devices have been developing at an ever-increasing pace in recent decades. Therefore, home theater enthusiasts who wish to utilize new file formats, high-bandwidth high-speed HDMI connections, or additional height channels for surround sound playback like Dolby Atmos® are forced to regularly replace their A/V receiver or amplifier. NAD's MDC principle provides for integrating all age-sensitive technologies onto a high-quality plug-in card that can be quickly and easily replaced with a newer version by a qualified technician. In addition, MDC modules allow for individual configuration of corresponding NAD amplifiers.
Numerous Sound Formats
The T 758 V3i decodes popular surround sound formats, including HD formats Dolby Atmos®, DTS:X, and DTS Master Audio, using the latest generation of high-speed multi-core DSPs. In addition, the receiver supports high-resolution audio formats such as Master Quality Authenticated (MQA), which are included in the BluOS™ system.
Excellent Video Quality
The T 758 V3i supports state-of-the-art digital video technologies including UltraHD video with resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 pixels at 60 frames per second with 4:4:4 color space. Analog video sources are also converted to HDMI for easy connection to your flat screen or projector with a single cable. Video processing then takes place in your TV set, so that unnecessary format conversions, as is the case with many other A/V receivers, are avoided.
Easy Operation
NAD has developed a very simple user interface for its receivers, which is incredibly flexible yet easy to use. Each source component retains the same user-defined settings for display with every selection. In addition, five individually programmable AV presets allow for custom settings for different types of program material (movies, concerts, classical, etc.) to tailor performance to your taste. Inputs can be named according to your components. If desired, the receiver can power a second independent listening zone – using the internal surround channel amplifiers for this purpose.
Dirac Live® – Software for Correction of
Room Acoustics and Impulse Response
Dirac Live® is an innovative room correction whose basic function is to calibrate an audio system to the acoustics of the listening room. But in addition to adjusting specific frequencies, Dirac Live® uses advanced algorithms to also analyze the impulse response of the played audio signals. This corrects possible deviations between the impulses contained in the original signal and their reproduction, so that the Hi-Fi system sounds more balanced, natural, and spacious. While the NAD M17.2 has the full version of Dirac Live® on board, the other devices with this feature have the light version, which only processes the particularly problematic low frequencies up to 500 Hz. An upgrade to the full version is possible at any time.
Apple AirPlay 2
The T758 V3i can be integrated into an Apple network via AirPlay 2 and then directly selected as a playback device for your music stream via your Mac, iPhone, or iPad. And if you have activated Siri voice control on your Apple device, a simple "Hey Siri, play the latest Paul McCartney album" or "Hey Siri, play NDR 2" is enough, and your NAD Hi-Fi system will immediately start playback.
T 758 V3 Remote App
With the "T 758 V3" app available for iOS, the receiver can be conveniently controlled remotely via Bluetooth® with a smartphone or tablet. The app is therefore essentially a replacement for the NAD remote control supplied with the receiver.

BluOS™ – Multi-room Streaming in HD
Quality
BluOS™ is an innovative, wireless system that allows music to be streamed throughout the house. The associated user interface is one of the world's few solutions for streaming uncompressed high-resolution 24-bit / 192 kHz music data to players integrated into the network. BluOS™ uses exclusively the local network for music transmission and platform organization – and is controlled with the BluOS™ app available for smartphones and tablets or a Windows or Mac computer. Since BluOS™ is multi-room capable, up to 64 zones can be integrated and optionally controlled synchronously with an audio stream or individually with different programs at different volumes. Bluesound supports numerous file formats from MP3 to MQA Studio Master quality. Whether streaming music services, your own music library on a hard drive, or Internet radio – with BluOS™ you always have access to your favorite music throughout the network.
BluOS™ can also be integrated into some innovative home automation systems, so that in addition to intelligent control of lighting, heating, and other household technology, a BluOS™ multi-room system can also be operated via the smart home panel.
MQA – Music in
Studio Master Quality
MQA is not a new file format, but an innovative
way to package large music files with complex encoding, efficient compression
technology, and a digital signature in such a way that even original studio master
recordings in 24-bit/192 kHz format can be packaged in comparatively small data
packets and made available online. For this purpose, the music data is packaged
in any containers such as ALAC, FLAC, or WAV. When played back via a decoder
integrated in BluOS™, the player fully unpacks the file again and returns it
losslessly to its original format, the Studio Master File.
