OVATION Amplifier Platform with High Current
Delivery Capability
The OVATION A 6.3 operates with high-current
MOS-FET technology in Class A/AB, adopted from the OVATION SA 6.3 stereo
amplifier. 20 MOS-FET transistors are used per channel, with a maximum current
delivery capability of 180 Amperes. An output stage with a 1000 VA toroidal
transformer additionally ensures sovereign performance.
Dual-Mono Concept and Separate
Power Supplies
A consistent dual-mono design minimizes
mutual interference between the channels. Four separate power supplies power the
mains, processor unit, and the input circuit left and right (silent power
supplies) – designed for constant performance even with demanding loads.
Analog and Symmetrical Signal
Routing
The input stages are analog and truly symmetrically
constructed, as well as fully DC-coupled. 5 high-level inputs are available for
integration into high-quality chains: 1 × XLR balanced and 4 × RCA unbalanced.
Variable preamplifier outputs are available via both XLR and RCA, supplemented
by a fixed line-out (RCA).
Digital Diversity: USB Hi-Res, Optical, Coax and
Bluetooth
Five digital inputs cover modern players: Coax (RCA),
TOSLINK Opto, and USB (up to 384 kHz / 32 Bit and DSD128 via USB). Bluetooth 4.2
is also integrated. Signal-sensitive inputs can automatically switch on the device
when a signal is present (1 × analog RCA, 1 × digital coax, 1 × digital opto).
Speaker A/B, Stable Connections, and System
Integration
Two speaker groups (A/B) can be switched separately;
extremely stable speaker terminals ensure secure contact. Two trigger outputs
are available for system control. A connection for an external IR receiver expands
the installation possibilities.
User-Friendliness with Display, Menu, and
Aluminum Remote Control
A large, blue luminescence graphic display
clearly presents information. Comprehensive menu functions include adjustable
input sensitivity and individual input naming. An RC 3 full-aluminum remote
control is included; additionally, controls are present on the device (buttons
and rotary knob).
Tone Control and Separate Class-A Headphone
Amplifier
Tone control, including parametric volume and bypass
function, allows adjustments to the setup and listening habits. A separate Class
A headphone amplifier with a 6.3mm jack is available for headphone operation.
Preparation for Home Cinema and Safety Instructions During
Operation
The amplifier is prepared for an optional ARC module and
home cinema/AV bypass. Relevant for everyday use: In standby, the device is not
completely disconnected from the mains; to completely disconnect, operate the
power switch on the back or pull the power cable. If a digital source is selected
without a compatible signal, the volume control (on the device and via remote
control) is deactivated. For cleaning: do not allow liquid inside the housing,
first pull the power cable, do not use solvents or abrasive cleaners.
