12th Generation Uni-Q® Driver with MAT™

At its heart is KEF's legendary Uni-Q® coaxial driver, in which the tweeter and midrange driver are arranged on a single axis. This design acts like a point source, distributing sound evenly throughout the room – regardless of the listening position.
Metamaterial Absorption Technology (MAT™) reduces internal reflections by up to 99%, resulting in an incomparably clean, natural sound. The result: voices and effects sound free, three-dimensional and lively.

Precision through 3-way design

The Q6 Meta's 3-way system precisely separates high, mid and low frequencies from each other. This ensures optimal reproduction of each frequency range – with clearly defined highs, open mids and powerful, controlled bass. Two 165 mm hybrid aluminium woofers provide deep, precise bass, while the 19 mm tweeter with MAT™ delivers fine details and spaciousness.

Perfect integration and versatility

The Q6 Meta was developed to integrate seamlessly into existing home cinema systems. Thanks to its tuned sound signature, it harmonises ideally with all KEF Q Series loudspeakers, enabling a uniform, high-quality sound image.
It can be used both as a centre speaker under the TV and as an LCR (Left/Centre/Right) loudspeaker – a solution suitable for both classic home cinemas and professional multi-channel setups.

The sealed cabinet of the Q6 Meta ensures precise bass reproduction and flexible placement – even close to a wall. The magnetic front cover protects the drivers, while the stylish cabinet variants in Satin Black, Satin White and Walnut harmoniously blend into any living environment.
