Powerful sound

For the A 45 CS center, we put a lot of effort into its development and equipped it with our innovative Canton Reference technology. The high-quality technology package in this model is unparalleled in this price range. Two 174 mm loudspeaker drivers with aluminum-ceramic-tungsten membranes, in conjunction with the ceramic dome, ensure pure and unadulterated music reproduction. These high-tech membranes are the ultimate in sound and represent a perfect symbiosis of stiffness and lightness. The triple-folded wave surround of the woofer ensures flawless and always controlled transients. The three-way concept of the A 45 CS center ensures enormously balanced and precise reproduction with musical details in abundance.

Highest quality – made in Hesse

Like all our loudspeakers, the A 45 CS center is built in our factory in Weilrod. This is the only way we can maintain the necessary quality standards, minimize tolerances, eliminate any errors and meet the high sound requirements for our loudspeakers. The housing of the A 45 CS is made of high-density fiberboard (HDF) and, due to its material thickness and internal bracing, is immune to sound-damaging resonances. The center, which weighs 16 kilograms and is available in white and black finishes, has a satin-matte shimmering or high-gloss surface that is painted in several layers and finally elaborately finished. Another visual highlight of the powerful center are the seamless diamond-cut aluminum rings of the loudspeaker drivers.

High-end technology

The A 45 CS center is designed as a 3-way loudspeaker, equipped with our best technical components. We have invested a lot of time in acoustic fine-tuning to satisfy even the highest sound demands. The best basis for this is provided by our drivers with their very light and enormously stiff aluminum-ceramic-tungsten membranes. In the large bass reflex enclosure, the two 174 mm loudspeaker drivers with wave surround are responsible for bass and midrange reproduction. The diaphragm profile of the midrange driver with Tripled Curved Cone (TCC) consists of three different radii, which give the diaphragm greater stability, leading to lower distortion. In addition, the radiation characteristic improves with an extended frequency range. Our high-end tweeter perfectly complements this duo: its 25 mm ceramic dome with a one-piece Transmission Front Plate ensures the best radiation behavior and clean and detailed transmission of even the highest frequencies. The A 45 CS center is characterized by an enormous bass foundation and its sonic precision and balance – with excellent speech intelligibility.
