We are presenting the "Townus", with which we want to appeal to all people who value timeless design and high-quality appearance. In reference to the roots and location of Canton's company headquarters, in the middle of the Hessian Taunus, the new speaker models were given the similarly sounding name Townus. The newly created Townus series impresses with its timeless, elegant design and high-quality materials – ideal for urban people who value design and quality. In the word creation Townus, we also refer to the connection between modern and vibrant city life (English: Town) and the rather quiet and rural Taunus, where the creators of this timeless and modern speaker series have their origins.

Understatedly elegant, with harmonious proportions and rounded cabinet edges, the 2.5-way center speaker Townus 50 attracts attention. The elaborately finished surfaces and the screwless integration of the drivers into the baffle make the Townus 50 center a jewel in any living environment. Its rounded cabinet edges not only give the Townus 50 an elegant look – they also improve the sound radiation of the center. Flawless surfaces in silk-matte or high-gloss finishes as well as exquisite real wood veneers with a perfect finish underline the premium claim of the new Townus speaker series. Further optical highlights include the high-quality aluminum rings of the speaker chassis, which are manufactured using the Steamless-Diamond-Cut process, and the fabric grilles with rounded corners, which magnetically adhere to the baffles.

The bass-reflex center speaker Townus 50 is characterized by its timeless, elegant design and its excellent sound properties, which make it the centerpiece of a powerful home cinema system. Powerful, deep basses, balanced tuning, and its great dynamics make it the perfect center – crystal-clear dialogue reproduction included. The Townus 50 center is equipped with high-quality technical components: guarantors for the well-known good Canton sound and extremely high reliability. Two 154 mm titanium cone woofers, suspended in long-throw, low-distortion wave surrounds, and a 25 mm aluminum-oxide ceramic tweeter with precisely calculated waveguide deliver ideal sound radiation up to 40,000 Hertz.
