Michi M8 Mono Power Amplifier for High Power and Precise Control
The Michi M8 is a mono power amplifier for high-end hi-fi and home cinema systems. As a Class AB amplifier, it delivers 1080 watts into 8 ohms and 1800 watts into 4 ohms, making it suitable for demanding loudspeakers and high load stability. The focus is on control, precision, and balanced reproduction even with high power requirements.
Powerful Power Supply and Elaborate Amplifier Architecture
The Michi M8 operates with two specially designed, ultra-low noise toroidal transformers. The power supply is complemented by four British, patented high-performance slit-foil capacitors or patented British bulk capacitors. This design is tuned for powerful and controlled bass reproduction even under extreme load conditions.
In addition, there are 32 high-current output transistors. They reduce the stress on individual components and provide the energy to maintain rhythm and timing even with extreme power requirements.
Features and Connectivity of the Michi M8
The Michi M8 features a balanced XLR input and an unbalanced RCA input. On the rear panel, there is also an input selector switch for balanced or unbalanced operation. For integration into installations, a NETWORK jack, an RS232 interface, and 12V Trigger In and Out are available. The features are complemented by two pairs of rhodium-plated speaker terminals.
Display and Installation
On the front of the device, there is a high-resolution display that can show a power meter or a spectrum analyzer. The included remote control expands the operating options. Overall, the Michi M8 combines very high output power with features designed for precise reproduction and flexible integration.
