Two stereo XLR and two stereo RCA inputs are available for CD players, external DACs, or streamers with an analog output. The A200 has neither digital inputs nor an integrated DAC or streaming functions.
For TV sound, please check whether your TV has an analog audio or headphone output. If only optical or HDMI ARC/eARC outputs are available, you will need a separately available, compatible converter with an analog stereo output; check the compatibility with your TV model and its audio formats before purchasing.
A variable RCA output allows the connection of an active subwoofer or an external power amplifier. There is also a fixed RCA output for a recorder or a second system.
Operation and headphone use with the Hegel A200
The source and volume are set on the device or with the included RC11 remote control. The display brightness can be adjusted or turned off if you do not want it to light up when listening in the evening.
Music can also be listened to without speakers via the front headphone jack. When headphones are plugged in, the speakers and the variable line output are muted.
