Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect and Qobuz Connect allow you to select music within each service's app. Apple AirPlay, Google Cast and UPnP provide additional playback options; you can access internet radio and podcasts via the Hegel Control app.
The network connection is made via Ethernet to the router. A USB storage device containing music files can be connected to the USB-A port and searched via the app.
Records and External Sources on the Hegel H200
A turntable with an MM cartridge can be connected directly to the phono input. Two analog RCA inputs and a balanced XLR input are available for devices with a line output.
Connect the TV via optical connection and set its audio output to PCM or stereo. A second optical input and a coaxial input are available for additional digital sources; the USB-B port is used for music playback from a computer.
Everyday Ease of Use with the Hegel H200
The source and volume can be controlled using the control knobs, the RC11 remote control or the Hegel Control app. A headphone jack on the front is available for private listening and mutes the speakers and variable line output when headphones are plugged in.
