It plays up to 35 kHz in the treble and down to 33 Hertz in the bass (-6 dB). Behind it all is C-CAM (Ceramic-Coated Aluminium/Magnesium) - a diaphragm technology developed by Monitor Audio that is used in almost all of the British brand's speaker series.

The Monitor Audio Silver 100 8G can be placed flexibly like a classic compact speaker on a lowboard or sideboard, but also freely on a stand. At the same time, it delivers a complete sound image across the entire frequency range from 33 Hertz in the bass to 35 kilohertz in the treble range. This makes it suitable for rooms with a floor area of 30 square meters and its maximum sound pressure of 114 dB also does not shy away from high levels.

Completely redesigned C-CAM Gold tweeter and RST III diaphragm - The best Silver series there ever was!

In the Silver 8G series, the new 25 millimeter C-CAM (Ceramic-Coated Aluminium/Magnesium) Gold tweeter with improved ventilation and cooling is used, which keeps the treble clean and precise even at high levels. In addition, the redesigned, flatter UD (Uniform Dispersion) Waveguide II with its flatter profile compared to the previous series ensures a more natural, wider and larger soundstage presentation, which brings the listener even closer to the original.

In the bass and midrange, the new RST (Rigid Surface Technology) III diaphragm works with a new, progressive, even firmer center spider for more precision and an optimized surround, for an even more harmonious sound image and less distortion across all frequencies. In addition, the midrange driver of the Silver 100 8G works consistently on its own due to the 3-way design - unlike a 2-way concept, where the woofer has to take over the very important midrange. Furthermore, the midrange driver is additionally isolated from the woofer by its own cabinet, which makes the midrange and voice range even finer, more dynamic and natural.
