Completely redesigned C-CAM Gold tweeter and RST III diaphragm - The best Silver series ever!

In the Silver 8G series, the new 25 millimeter C-CAM (Ceramic-Coated Aluminium/Magnesium) Gold tweeter with improved ventilation and cooling is used, which keeps the treble clean and precise even at high volumes. In addition, the redesigned, flatter UD (Uniform Dispersion) Waveguide II with its flatter profile compared to the previous series ensures a more natural, wider and larger soundstage presentation, which brings the listener even closer to the original.

In the bass and midrange, the new RST (Rigid Surface Technology) III diaphragm works with a new, progressive, even firmer center spider for more precision and an optimized surround, for an even more harmonious sound image and less distortion across all frequencies. Furthermore, the midrange driver of the Silver 500 8G works consistently on its own due to the 3-way design. In addition, the midrange driver is further isolated from the woofer by its own enclosure, which makes the midrange and vocal range even finer, more dynamic and natural.

The newly designed feet compared to the previous series are also a small highlight! As before, rubber rings for decoupling and protecting sensitive hard floors such as laminate or parquet, as well as spikes for carpet, are integrated directly. However, these are now covered from above by a removable metal disc, allowing the feet and spikes to be adjusted directly in height without having to tilt the speaker as before. A small but clever detail that makes the Silver 8G series so special.

The Silver 500 8G scales with the amplifier – but is extremely easy to drive

With its minimum impedance of 3.6 ohms (at 2 kilohertz), the Silver 500 8G is an easy-to-drive load for any amplifier, which is also underlined by its high efficiency of 90 decibels (measured with 2.83 volts at a distance of one meter).
