In the Silver 8G series, the new 25 millimeter C-CAM (Ceramic-Coated Aluminium/Magnesium) Gold tweeter with improved ventilation and cooling is used, ensuring that the high frequency always remains clean and precise even at high volume levels. In addition, the redesigned, flatter UD (Uniform Dispersion) Waveguide II with its flatter profile compared to the previous series ensures a more natural, wider, and larger stage presentation, bringing the listener even closer to the original.

In the low and midrange, the new RST (Rigid Surface Technology) III diaphragm works with a new, progressive, even firmer center spider for more precision and an optimized surround, for an even more harmonious sound image and less distortion across all frequencies.

A talented player – The completely easy-to-drive

With its minimum impedance of 3.5 ohms and its efficiency of 85.5 dB, the Silver AMS 8G also plays without problems with smaller AV receivers from 30 watts of continuous power upwards and impresses with a realistic expansion of the sound field upwards. Since it is limited downwards in the bass range, it therefore also represents an uncomplicated load for smaller, not quite so powerful AV receivers, which hardly weighs in electrically, but means an even greater step forward sonically.

The Silver AMS 8G then simply beams the Dolby Atmos channels to the ceiling at the defined angle via the specially optimized waveguide and the angled design, from where the sound is then reflected from there to the listening position and a realistic 3D effect with sound from above is created. Clever!
