The Magnetar Ultima is a high-quality universal media transport for disc, USB, and network playback, transmitting digital image and sound signals to external components.

Code- & Region-Free Functionality

The Code- & Region-Free version (this product) enables playback of region-coded Blu-rays from regions A, B, and C, as well as DVDs from regions 1 to 6. This allows for playback of numerous internationally released discs.

4K UHD Blu-rays are standard region-free and can be played regardless of the region. SACDs are also not subject to DVD or Blu-ray regional codes and are played by the Magnetar ULTIMA in the respective supported format.

For Physical Media and Modern Digital Sources

The ULTIMA supports universal media playback with UHD Blu-ray, Blu-ray, DVD, CD, SACD, DVD-A, DSD/DoP, USB, and network-based playback. This makes it particularly well-suited for systems where film collections, music media, and high-resolution digital content are to be deliberately preserved and played back with high quality.

Battery-Supported DC Architecture

A central feature is the battery-supported DC power architecture with lithium-based power stages.
