The Smart Amp 5.1 is a smart, discreet AV amplifier solution that can replace large, heavy amplifiers in times of minimalist living rooms. The powerful 600-watt Smart Amp 5.1 effortlessly manages and operates numerous passive speakers and wireless speakers – up to a complex Dolby Atmos® system in a 7.1.4 configuration. It can be flexibly adapted to your listening room and habits, conveniently via remote control and on-screen menu. With Apple AirPlay, Chromecast built-in and Spotify Connect features, you can stream your favorite music wirelessly. The variable connectivity and user-friendliness with 4K compatible HDMI ports including eARC and many additional inputs allow direct connection of your TV and other playback devices with the Smart Amp 5.1. Whether it's a high-end stereo system or a combination of wired and wireless speakers – the possibilities are diverse for room-filling home cinema sound and flexible streaming.

Control Center for Home Cinema Sound and Picture

Thanks to four HDMI ports with eARC and HDCP2.2, the Smart Amp 5.1 brings your razor-sharp TV picture to life with exciting, room-filling sound. The Smart Amp 5.1 supports Dolby Atmos®, DTS HD and the HDR (High Dynamic Range) video format as multi-channel audio formats. You can conveniently set up the system and perfectly adjust it to your sound preferences via the on-screen display on the TV. Thus, in addition to connecting as a stereo or AV amplifier for direct connection to the TV, the Smart Amp 5.1 functions as a control center for various players: from a CD player, game console, Blu-ray player to a classic radio receiver. The freely configurable inputs and outputs provide flexible connection options for your speakers or players.

Wireless Music Streaming in High-Res

For both passive speakers and smart speakers, the high-quality AV amplifier Smart Amp 5.1 serves as a flexibly configurable connection center. The basis for impressive sound experiences is created here by lossless and high-resolution transmission of up to 24 bit / 96 kHz. This allows a combination of 6 passive speakers and wirelessly up to 8 Smart speakers. The multidimensional virtualizer provides stunning 3D surround sound – even with only 2 connected speakers. The powerful DSP enables high-end stereo sound and impressive multi-channel sound. With the Smart Amp 5.1, the variations are versatile and unique: stereo or multi-channel, wired or wireless, the flexible combination of both worlds as well as SingleRoom and Multiroom streaming – everything is possible. For example, you have the option of wiring your front speakers and connecting the rear speakers wirelessly.

Easy Operation - Also via Voice Command

In addition to manual operation via app, you can also start playback, pause, adjust volume or control an entire Canton Smart System by voice. Although our Smart Amp 5.1 does not have built-in microphones, it offers the highest possible compatibility for voice control. To operate the Smart Amp 5.1 by voice, there are several options: Use the voice assistants Siri or Google Assistant of your smartphone or an external Apple or Google device of your choice. This allows you to play your favorite music either by pressing a button or by voice in any desired room.

Easy Setup with Apple AirPlay or Google Home App

With Apple AirPlay or the Google Home App, the Smart Amp 5.1 can be conveniently set up and managed in the WLAN from your smartphone. The amplifier supports both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz WLAN connections.

Always up-to-date with automatic software updates

Once integrated into the WLAN, the Smart Amp 5.1 always stays up-to-date through automatic software updates. This way, you receive all new features via update on your device if desired.

Audio and Music Playback even without WLAN

If the Smart Amp 5.1 is not connected to the WLAN, you can still use all functions and, if necessary, stream music wirelessly to the soundbar via Bluetooth.
