Dirac Live
You deserve an AV receiver that fits your interior, not the other way around. Thanks to Dirac Live Room Calibration Full Bandwidth, Onkyo's TX-R70 automatically adjusts your audio settings to your speaker system and room configuration.
Bass enthusiasts can also enhance their system with Dirac Live Bass Control on an unlimited number of subwoofers for optimal calibration of the most serious sounds.
IMAX Enhanced Mode
Bring the movie experience into your home by recreating IMAX content exactly as the directors intended. The TX-R-70 meets the quality standards set by IMAX to reduce noise and grain, providing brighter and clearer images, as well as immersive sound for the ultimate cinematic experience. The IMAX Enhanced mode also expands the aspect ratio to display up to 26% more image on screen.
THX Certified
In 1993, Onkyo became the first consumer electronics brand to be THX certified. Thousands of tests were conducted before receiving the THX certification logo, ensuring impeccable sound and visual reproduction quality. The TX-R-70 offers four different THX listening modes: Cinema, Games, Music, and EX Surround.
Klipsch Optimized Mode
Klipsch and Onkyo have partnered to set precise crossover values so you can accurately pair your Klipsch Reference and Reference Premiere speakers with your new Onkyo AV receiver. All you have to do is select the speaker model for each channel, and the optimized filter setting will be automatically applied.
DTS Play-Fi Ready
With DTS Play-Fi, you can enjoy high-quality music from networked online services, network media servers, and your Wi-Fi device library to an unlimited number of compatible products using the Onkyo Music Control App for iPad, iPhone, and Android smartphones/tablets. DTS Play-Fi allows music to be synchronized in every room. Each family member can use their own device to listen to their music in a room. With DTS Play-Fi, you can structure a complete multi-room ecosystem that meets virtually all needs.
