The brand new, completely redesigned Gold 6G series leaves no detail undiscovered, as the Monitor Audio Group delivers the best and most fascinating loudspeaker series that has ever borne the name Gold Series.
The Gold 6G series combines the highest sound quality, timeless design and technical innovations.
New HDT-C-CAM Diaphragm
To ensure absolutely clear sound, the new diaphragm with a hexagonal pattern breaks symmetries in the cone and increases the diaphragm's break-up frequency by 10%.
New 6" and 8" Woofers
The bass sounds cleaner and more powerful thanks to the 6- and 8-inch drivers and exhibits greater linearity, reducing distortion in the bass range.
New 6" Bass/Midrange Driver (Gold 50 6G only)
The usable frequency range of the new Gold 6G 6-inch bass/midrange driver has been significantly extended and midrange distortion reduced.
New 3" Midrange Driver
It is characterized by lower distortion as well as improved sensitivity, frequency response and dispersion characteristics.
New MPD III Tweeter
It is based on the MPD III of the Hyphn and Platinum series and has been carefully optimized to harmonize with the driver system.
Gold Series 6G Cabinet Design
All Gold Series 6G cabinets are constructed to form the stiffest possible structure, allowing the drivers to perform at their optimal level.
Available in beautiful, timeless high-gloss, lacquer and veneer finishes, the Gold Series 6G exudes a quality that further underlines Monitor Audio's reputation as a world leader in loudspeaker design and manufacture.
