The SONIK 9 was
specifically developed to fill expansive living areas with an immersive
sound experience. Three 7-inch woofers, combined with
precise engineering, ensure that music and movies are reproduced with absolute sophistication
and enormous power.
Deep
and Dynamic Bass with Tangible Presence
Thanks to the
triple-woofer configuration, the speaker offers bass reproduction that
combines depth and structure. The use of patented SMC™ technology and
the special Clarity Cone™ structure enables a controlled,
articulate low-frequency representation that makes rhythmic details and cinematic
effects audible and physically palpable.
Precise Treble
through Hybrid Tweeter Technology
At the heart of the
treble reproduction is the hybrid tweeter module, which combines an ultra-light
textile dome with a planar-magnetic driver. This configuration
ensures wide dispersion and transparent detail reproduction.
Even at high volumes, the sound image remains open and natural, preserving
the finest nuances in the recording.
Low
Distortion through Innovative Magnet Systems
The SMC™ Essential
Magnet System significantly reduces hysteresis and eddy currents in the voice coil
area. This leads to a linear and low-distortion performance in the
mid-range. The combination of wood fiber-reinforced paper cones and
powerful double magnets provides additional dynamic reserves and
detailed reproduction.
Versatile
Applications in Hi-Fi and Home Cinema
Due to its balanced
tuning and wide bandwidth, the floor-standing speaker is equally suitable
for demanding stereo systems as well as a front channel in
