SVS PB-2000 Pro Subwoofer for Home Theater and Hi-Fi

The SVS PB-2000 Pro is an active bass-reflex subwoofer for home theater and stereo systems. It adds deep, powerful bass to loudspeakers and is suitable for movies, music, and gaming.

Frequency Response and Port Tuning

The SVS PB-2000 Pro operates as a bass-reflex subwoofer with two bass-reflex ports and achieves a frequency response of 16 to 290 Hz ± 3 dB in standard mode. In sealed mode, the frequency response is 17 to 290 Hz ± 3 dB.

For port tuning, the PB-2000 Pro offers two operating modes: In standard tuning, the ports remain open; in sealed tuning, the ports are closed with plugs. The appropriate tuning is selected via the SVS Subwoofer App so that cabinet tuning and DSP control work together.

This allows the PB-2000 Pro to be tuned either for maximum deep bass output in bass-reflex operation or for more controlled reproduction in sealed mode, depending on the room, system, and listening preferences.

12-inch Driver for Power and Control

Inside, a front-firing 12-inch driver from the SVS 2000 Pro Series is at work. The design is engineered for high excursion, low distortion, and controlled bass reproduction.

550 Watts RMS and 1500 Watts Peak

An integrated Sledge Class-D amplifier provides high power reserves, even at lower volumes.

DSP Control via App

The PB-2000 Pro can be adjusted via the SVS Subwoofer DSP App using Bluetooth. The app works with iOS, Android, and Amazon operating systems and allows adjustments directly from the listening position.

Adaptation to Room and Speakers

Crossover frequency, parametric EQ, polarity, phase, and room gain can be adjusted. Three user-defined presets help save different settings for movies, music, or individual listening habits.

Easy Integration into Home Theater and Stereo

RCA stereo inputs and outputs, LFE usage, auto/on function, and 3–30V AC/DC triggers facilitate integration into AV receivers, preamplifiers, and stereo systems. Multiple subwoofers can also be connected via the ports.

Onboard Controls

In addition to the app, the back panel features an Intelligent Control Interface. Basic functions such as volume, low pass, and phase can be adjusted directly there.

Stable MDF Enclosure

The enclosure is made of MDF and features an extra-thick front baffle as well as internal bracing. This construction reduces unwanted resonances and supports clean bass reproduction.

Premium Black Ash Finish

The Premium Black Ash finish, the curved protective grille with SVS signature, and the robust enclosure design make the subwoofer visually understated and suitable for living rooms, home theaters, and hi-fi environments.

What is the difference between SVS PB and SB?
