The Sledge STA-1200D operates with 1,200 watts RMS and over 4,000 watts peak power. For the existing PB13-Ultra, this means a powerful amplifier upgrade without having to replace the entire subwoofer.
50 MHz DSP for More Precise Adjustment
The integrated 50 MHz Analog Devices Audio DSP enables precise signal processing and advanced adjustment options. These include low-pass filters, phase, polarity, room gain compensation, parametric EQs, and port tuning for bass-reflex models.
Smartphone App Instead of Cumbersome Operation
The SVS Subwoofer Control App makes setup and in-room adjustment easier. Settings can be made directly from the listening position, which is particularly practical for home theater setups with hard-to-access subwoofers.
Installation in the Existing Subwoofer
During the upgrade, the older Sledge STA-1000D amplifier is removed from the subwoofer and replaced with the Sledge STA-1200D. The instructions mention, among other things, ten screws, an output adapter, and a supplied square bit.
