SVS SB 13-Ultra Upgrade Kit for the SB13-Ultra Subwoofer
Amplifier Upgrade Instead of New Subwoofer Purchase
The upgrade kit is intended for owners of an existing SB13-Ultra who want to continue using and technically modernizing the subwoofer. The main benefits are greater ease of use, expanded adjustment options, and a powerful amplifier platform, without having to replace the complete subwoofer cabinet.
Sledge STA-1200D with 1,200 Watts RMS
The integrated Sledge STA-1200D operates with 1,200 watts RMS and more than 4,000 watts peak power. This gives the SB13-Ultra a powerful amplifier upgrade for home theater and hi-fi applications where controlled deep bass and high power reserves are important.
DSP Control via Smartphone App
Control is via the SVS Subwoofer Control Mobile App. This allows important subwoofer functions to be set directly from the listening position, including volume, low-pass filter, phase, polarity, Room-Gain-Compensation, and parametric EQs.
50-MHz DSP for Precise Adjustment
The 50-MHz Analog Devices audio DSP processes the subwoofer signals digitally and allows for finer adjustment to the room, loudspeakers, and listening habits. This is particularly useful in rooms where bass can be too strong, too weak, or uneven depending on placement.
Installation in the Existing Subwoofer Cabinet
When upgrading, the existing Sledge STA-1000D is removed from the 13-Ultra subwoofer and replaced with the Sledge STA-1200D. Instructions and mounting accessories are included in the scope of delivery.
Connection and System Integration
The upgrade kit offers RCA and XLR stereo inputs and outputs, as well as Auto/On and a 3–30V AC/DC trigger. This allows the upgraded SB13-Ultra to be integrated into classic stereo systems, home theater systems, and setups with an AV receiver or processor.
This product comes with a 5-year manufacturer's warranty.

SB-13 Ultra Upgrade Kit
The SVS SB 13-Ultra Subwoofer Amplifier Upgrade Kit is an amplifier upgrade for the SVS SB13-Ultra and is part of the 13-Ultra Upgrade Series. It replaces the older amplifier with the Sledge STA-1200D amplifier platform and brings modern DSP and app functionalities to the existing subwoofer.
