Force-Balanced Array for Controlled Bass

The Force-Balanced Array uses four 6.5-inch woofers in a force-balanced configuration. The woofers work in such a way that cabinet vibrations are greatly reduced, and the bass is reproduced deeply, precisely, and evenly distributed.

Low Frequency with Bass Reflex Support / Distance to Wall

Two rear-firing 2.5-inch bass reflex ports support the low-frequency range. This gives the floor-standing speaker additional depth. It is important to place the speaker at a greater distance from the wall. We recommend a distance of 30 - 90 cm. The minimum distance is 15 cm.

Organic Cell Lattice Diffuser for Clean Dispersion

The FEA-optimized Organic Cell Lattice Diffuser sits in front of the tweeter. It protects the driver and supports controlled high-frequency dispersion.

Midrange Drivers for Voices and Instruments

Two 4.5-inch midrange drivers made of composite glass fiber material handle the important midrange. This is where many voices, guitars, pianos, and movie dialogues reside, which is why clean and stable reproduction is particularly important.

High-Quality Driver Construction

The midrange and woofers use baskets made of precision-cast aluminum alloy. This design ensures accurate component alignment and aids in heat dissipation during operation.

Time-Aligned Cabinet Geometry

The cabinet shape is designed to bring the acoustic centers of the drivers to as equal a distance as possible from the listening position. This allows high, mid, and bass frequencies to interact more coherently in time.

Acoustically Centered Architecture

Midrange and woofers are arranged rotationally symmetrically around the tweeter. This is intended to ensure that deep, mid, and high frequencies originate from a common acoustic reference point and form a cohesive sound image.

Low-Resonance Construction

The 25 mm thick driver baffle provides a stable base for the drivers. Additionally, the cabinet features an FEA-optimized 18 mm construction with bracing and sound insulation to reduce disturbing resonances.

Connection for Bi-Amping and Bi-Wiring

The gold-plated 5-way binding posts support bi-amping and bi-wiring. This means that the speaker offers two connection options: With bi-wiring, the high/mid-range and low-frequency range are connected from the same amplifier via separate speaker cables, while with bi-amping, separate amplifier channels or amplifiers are used for these ranges.

SVS Ultra Evolution Titan vs. Ultra Evolution Tower

The SVS Ultra Evolution Titan differs from the Ultra Evolution Tower primarily in its larger low-frequency foundation: While the Tower offers four 5.25-inch woofers and a frequency response of 30 Hz to 40 kHz, the Titan works with four 6.5-inch woofers and extends down to 27 Hz; this makes the Titan particularly suitable for larger rooms, higher sound levels, and noticeably more powerful bass reproduction, while the Tower remains the more compact floor-standing speaker variant in the series.
