The AT-VM95ML belongs to Audio-Technica's proven VM95 series and stands for maximum precision and fidelity. Its microlinear stylus, crafted from a single polished diamond, offers outstanding groove tracking – especially in the inner areas of the record, where other styli often lose precision.
Thanks to its special cut, the microlinear stylus traces the record groove with utmost accuracy, resulting in an extended frequency response, lower distortion, and double the lifespan compared to elliptical styli. In combination with the lightweight, hollow aluminum cantilever, this ensures an exceptionally detailed, transparent sound.
The Dual Moving Magnet design precisely reproduces the left and right groove walls, enabling clear channel separation, natural soundstage imaging, and stable stereo balance. The low-resonance housing guarantees clean signal transmission without unwanted vibrations.
Like all models in the VM95 series, the AT-VM95ML is fully compatible with all styli in the series – from conical to Shibata. This allows the cartridge to be customized to one's individual sound preference or the condition of the records.
Thanks to the integrated M2.6 threaded inserts, installation is particularly easy – without nuts and with an optimal fit for headshells or tonearms with half-inch mounts.
