Description
The AT-VM95SP was specially designed for playing old shellac records that contain only monaural modulations. In combination with a suitable phono preamplifier or activated "mono" function, playback noise is significantly reduced and the audio track is reproduced particularly cleanly.
The conical, mounted stylus with a large 3 mil radius precisely tracks the wide grooves of classic 78 rpm records, ensuring authentic sound reproduction. Thanks to Dual Moving Magnet technology, the cartridge offers a clean, stable signal with excellent channel separation.
Like all models in the VM95 series, the AT-VM95SP is fully compatible with the other styli in this series – a simple stylus change thus also allows switching to other stylus types. Due to the high mechanical stability and the aluminum construction of the cantilever, the cartridge is durable and reliable in daily use.
