New Suspension System "Yan"
Construction Philosophy: The essence of MC cartridges is the damping system, which is primarily determined by the interplay between the spring (Piano Wire) and the rubber ring. Furthermore, the art of suspension essentially lies in coordinating all components so that they function harmoniously. Consequently, all models of our new product line are carefully factory-adjusted to a specification that guarantees a balanced music reproduction and aligns with our commitment to lifelike reproduction.
The new suspension system, Yan, was developed with the following objectives:
1. Minimizing Information Loss and Distortion:
By refining the spring and suspension materials, Yan aims to preserve the interactive audio signal of the cartridge and reduce audible distortions that can impair the listening experience.
2. Exceptional Dynamic Range and Lifelike Soundstage:
The system is designed for a wide frequency and dynamic range, ensuring that the soundstage remains expansive and as close to a live performance as possible.
3. Improved Transient Response and Clarity:
The optimized suspension mechanism allows for an agile response to transient signals while ensuring a clearer and more defined playback.
4. Analytical Yet Warm Acoustics:
Yan focuses on analytical precision, while maintaining a warm sound profile that balances details.

1. Custom Spring Material with Optimized Elasticity:
A carefully calibrated damping design contributes to more precise vibration control, ensuring more accurate high-frequency tracking, which is the bottleneck of conventional MC cartridges.
2. Innovative Rubber Compound for Suspension:
Our new rubber compound offers higher rigidity, which leads to less
information loss during playback. This rigidity does
not come at the expense of frequency response, but is improved so that excellent
tracking is achieved even with low tracking force. The
improved material properties enable effective damping over a
wide frequency band, without generating unwanted resonances.
