Amplifier Technology
The HE-1 is the first electrostatic headphone with integrated Cool Class
A MOS-FET high-voltage amplifiers in the earcups.
They ensure extremely
impulse-faithful reproduction and 200% higher efficiency than all other currently
available systems.
Its vacuum tubes are connected to a spring-mounted damped marble housing – which prevents structure-borne sound transmission – and surrounded by quartz bulbs that protect against airborne sound interference. This state-of-the-art amplifier is thus characterized by extremely impulse-faithful reproduction with the lowest possible distortion.
Exclusive Choice of Materials
The HE-1 not only impresses with its sound but also with its exclusive choice of materials. Its amplifier rests on a block of solid Carrara marble – famous for Michelangelo's sculptures.
