On the top of the PULSE M is a touch panel that activates when approached. This provides access to Play/Pause, volume control, tracks (forward or backward), and 5 presets. Over 20 music streaming services, or many thousands of internet radio stations, can be controlled directly via the BluOS™ App installed on a smartphone, tablet, or computer. Your own music library can also be integrated via Wi-Fi, LAN, or an external USB drive. Furthermore, the onboard AirPlay 2™ option allows seamless integration with the Apple Ecosystem, or the user can also play and amplify their music directly via Bluetooth aptX™ HD, the 3.5 mm analog or optical-digital connection, or the 3.5 mm headphone output on the PULSE M.

GREAT SOUND

The PULSE M Omni-Hybrid™ design features an angled, upward-firing 5 ¼ inch (133 mm) mid-woofer and two ¾ inch (19 mm) tweeters angled 45° from each other. A specially developed acoustic reflector above the mid-woofer directs the sound out of the speaker and enables a 360° soundstage. The acoustic drivers are powered by a smart DSP-tuned digital amplifier with an output of 80 watts, which in turn relies on a specially developed power supply for stable power delivery.

ELEGANT DESIGN

The new technology is housed in a space-saving elliptical enclosure measuring 204 mm in height, 149 mm in depth, and 171 mm in width; thus, the PULSE M fits almost anywhere. For wall mounting, Bluesound offers the new WM230 wall mount, and for freestanding placement, Bluesound adds the new FS230 floor stand to its product range. Available in black or matte white, the PULSE M effortlessly blends into any environment.

STEREO AND HOME THEATER

Two PULSE M speakers can be grouped as a stereo set with the BluOS™ App and impress with an ultra-wide stereo soundstage. TV viewers or home theater fans can set up two PULSE M as rear surround speakers in a home theater group and experience captivating movie nights.

HI-RES, MULTI-ROOM

Various Bluesound devices can be networked in the home via BluOS™ to form a true multi-room system that supports HighRes audio playback (up to 64 BluOS™ speakers and components via LAN, 16 via Wi-Fi). Whether music is played individually from single Bluesound devices or Bluesound devices are grouped together and play the same music, the possibilities are diverse. In addition, the PULSE M can also be operated with the most well-known home control systems such as Crestron, Control4, URC, RTI, ELAN and others, and a KNX connection is also naturally possible.

A carefully developed, performance-oriented power supply provides the amplifier with everything it needs to deliver a controlled and precise total output power of 80 watts. The interaction of acoustic design and smart DSP amplifier results in a balanced frequency response and 360° sound distribution without losing focus. This is room-filling sound, as it should be heard.
