25MHz: Born for Excellent Audio Quality

10 MHz is currently the most common word clock frequency; however, this frequency was originally chosen for GPS devices and not optimized for audio. After extensive testing, our research and development team found that the ideal frequency for audio and network devices is 25MHz. Better than "Built-in"

Compared to "stand-alone" word clocks, built-in word clocks share system resources (power supplies, etc.) with other components, all interconnected on the same circuit board. There are many situations that can disturb the clock signal, such as electrical pulses caused by changes in system load, interference with other electronic components, noise from the network, and system-induced jitter effects. For this reason, a standalone word clock source is essential: Less interference with the clock source ensures the cleanest possible clock signal.
