Description
Analog Precision for the Highest Sound Demands
The AT-LP7X is a fully manual turntable, specifically designed to minimize unwanted resonances and enable precise, distortion-free playback of records.
High-Quality Material Selection for Pure Acoustics
The foundation is a dense MDF plinth in elegant matte black, combined with a 20 mm thick, high-density acrylic platter. This combination ensures high inertia and effectively dampens vibrations, allowing the detail of the recordings to shine through without distracting background noise.
Precise Motor Technology and Smooth Running
The belt drive is powered by an optically monitored motor, which, through a speed sensor system, guarantees a continuously exact speed of 33-1/3 or 45 rpm. To isolate mechanical vibrations, the motor is mounted on vibration-damping rubber bushings. A stainless steel spindle with a thermoplastic plain bearing additionally supports low-friction rotation.
Classic Tonearm Design and Tracking Accuracy
The J-shaped aluminum tonearm is inspired by classic models from the 1960s and 1970s. It features a two-axis gimbal bearing with precision ball bearings, which, together with the optimized chassis geometry, ensures excellent lateral tracking and distortion-free playback.
Maximum Flexibility for Individualists
With the integrated VTA (Vertical Tracking Angle) adjustment and a switchable phono preamplifier for MM and MC cartridges, the device offers enormous versatility. The standard 16g counterweight allows the use of a wide variety of cartridge combinations, while the AT-VM95E system can be easily upgraded by simply replacing the stylus within the VM95 series.
