The AT-VM520xEB/H combo kit brings together what belongs together: The popular AT-VM520xEB cartridge from the new Audio-Technica VMx series comes pre-mounted on the AT-LT10 aluminum headshell – a complete package for Hi-Fi purists who don't want to compromise.

The AT-VM520xEB uses the proven Dual Moving Magnet technology, in which two magnets are precisely arranged in a V-shape. This design mimics the geometry of a professional cutting head and enables excellent channel separation, clean stereo imaging, and natural spaciousness. The elliptical, bonded diamond stylus (0.3 × 0.7 mil) precisely scans the groove walls and ensures a finely resolved, vibrant sound reproduction with rich bass, clear mid-range structure, and brilliant highs.

The heart of the system is the para-toroidal coil construction, in which two PCUHD® (Pure Copper Ultra High Drawability) copper coils are arranged per channel. These coils made of high-purity copper wire offer superior conductivity, resulting in dynamic, detailed, and low-distortion music playback. A central shielding plate between the channels reduces crosstalk, while the lower number of turns of the coils improves the impulse response – for a clear, immediate response.

The low-resonance polymer housing and the hollow aluminum cantilever minimize vibrations, while integrated threaded inserts allow for easy mounting. The V-shaped cut-out in the protective cap allows a clear view of the stylus – ideal for precise positioning when lowering onto the record.

The AT-LT10 universal headshell included in the set perfectly complements the cartridge. Made from lightweight die-cast aluminum, it reduces unwanted resonances to a minimum. Thanks to elongated slots, precise positioning of the cartridge is possible, while the OFC (oxygen-free copper) cables ensure optimal signal transmission. The ergonomic finger lift provides a secure grip when placing the stylus.
