The AT-VM95E/H is a pre-assembled complete system from Audio-Technica's successful VM95 series. It combines the popular AT-VM95E cartridge with the high-quality AT-HS6BK headshell – a perfect upgrade for anyone who values clear, dynamic, and natural vinyl sound.
The cartridge utilizes the proven Dual Moving Magnet principle, which is based on the geometry of a cutting head: two magnets are arranged to precisely track the left and right channels of the record groove. This ensures precise channel separation, excellent spatiality, and lively reproduction.
The elliptical diamond stylus follows the groove's modulations more precisely than a conical stylus – the result is a wide frequency response, high phase fidelity, and minimal distortion. The housing has also been redesigned and consists of a rigid, low-resonance polymer that minimizes vibrations.
Like all models in the VM95 series, the AT-VM95E/H also offers full stylus compatibility: all six styli (C, E, EN, ML, SH, SP) fit the same housing – allowing the sound character to be flexibly changed at any time or the stylus easily replaced when worn.
The pre-assembled AT-HS6BK headshell is made of die-cast aluminum, weighs 9 g, and features elongated holes for precise adjustment. Thanks to the integrated M2.6 threaded inserts, the cartridge can be mounted quickly and easily – without nuts.
