Symmetrical preamplifier
The C-5000 offers a completely symmetrical and discrete circuit design with Tone Defeat. The patented electronic design of the C-5000 enables optimal signal routing across all audio inputs, which is free from ground interference.
Perfect channel balance thanks to "Folding Book" circuit
The "Folding Book" design of the preamplifier board mirrors the left and right signal paths for perfect channel balance. Since the channels are identical, the C-5000 creates a stereo sound field with plastic depth and realistic width. The signal routing remains optimal even when other components are connected.
Double powerhouse
Independent toroidal transformers for the left and right channels offer optimal signal separation and thus an outstanding soundstage. The low magnetic radiation reduces negative effects on the audio signal. After extensive listening tests, the power transformer was encased in a copper-plated shell to suppress magnetic radiation and vibrations. This also minimizes the influence on the phono circuit. This creates a rhythmic, dynamic and detailed sound that seduces the listener to endless listening sessions.
Electronic design with low impedance
The copper-plated chassis minimizes disruptive influences of voltages on the electronic circuit. This enables the C-5000 to reproduce even the finest sound differences as well as voluminous bass.
Thick, screwed cables also reduce the impedance of the power supply and further improve the transmission of the audio signal.
High-end to touch
The C-5000 was completely redeveloped with the aim of enabling the ultimate Hi-Fi experience. Aesthetics and haptics - the knobs and switches convey the inner qualities at the very first touch. The precise volume control is ball-bearing mounted and cut from aluminum, while the toggle switches give the C-5000 a classic appearance. This makes operation an experience in itself.
Standing on its own feet
During the development of the C-5000, every technical aspect that influences the sound was considered. The obsession to achieve the best possible sound led to the development of the new, patented feet. The heavy brass feet decouple the C-5000 either as pure spikes or with scratch protection for sensitive surfaces.
