The CINEMA 50 SERIES 2 is a 9.4-channel AV receiver for movies, music, and gaming. Thanks to its numerous channels, the device supports Dolby Atmos. Dolby Atmos enables three-dimensional sound with ear-level speakers and dedicated ceiling speakers. This creates a spatial listening experience where effects can be perceived not only from the front or back but also from above. The AV receiver operates with 9 power amplifiers and delivers 110 watts at 8 ohms in 2-channel operation. In pre-amplifier mode or via the pre-outs, it supports up to 11.4 channels. This gives the CINEMA 50 SERIES 2 scope for more complex home cinema configurations, including 4 independent subwoofer outputs and 11 speaker terminals.
Modern HDMI Features for 8K, Gaming, and eARC
For current picture sources, there are 6 HDMI inputs and 3 HDMI outputs available. HDMI 2.1 with 8K/60 Hz and 4K/120 Hz, HDCP 2.3, HDR, HLG, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and Dynamic HDR are supported. Powered by HEOS™ enables music streaming and multiroom playback with compatible HEOS devices.
