What a gigantic player!

Its weight of 22kg is not the only impressive thing about it. But let's get into the details. New, robust SACD / CD transport mechanism with highest reading accuracy and rigid construction to prevent vibrations. The mechanism is surrounded by 8 mm thick aluminum side walls that extend from front to back. The LxDTM has a robust BOX structure with a 5 mm thick steel plate.

With the LxDTM-i, the mechanism's mounting system has been stabilized compared to the conventional method of mounting on brackets attached to the side frame. The side frame itself has slots in which the transport mechanism and the frame are firmly screwed together. The result is a highly accurate and stable reading system with unparalleled robustness. A dust-proof shutter enables clean and quiet disc operation.

The absolute highlight is the new high-performance "MUS-IC" BD34301EKV DAC chips from the renowned semiconductor manufacturer ROHM Co. Ltd. With the highest specifications and the industry's highest quality, low distortion (THD + N-115 dB) / low noise (S / N ratio 130 dB), they operate in dual-mono mode. Every atmosphere and nuance of a piece of music is faithfully reproduced for the listener.

The USB input is PCM 768 kHz / 32 bit – DSD 22.4 MHz / 1 bit, compatible with the highest specifications for high-resolution data decoding. MQA (MQA-CD / MQA files) is supported with full decoding. Equipped with a new, high-precision clock module with extremely low phase noise and low jitter, which reduces noise near the oscillation frequency.

The D-10x uses new, large power transformers (27% more capacity compared to conventional ones) and independent regulators for each circuit. The traditional, highly stable power supply from LUXMAN has large-capacity filter capacitors. The housing protects against magnetic fields, grounding impedance and digital noise. Luxman relies on the ideal signal path: Read ⇒ Convert ⇒ Output; to avoid noise and vibration sources. The "LUXMAN Audio Player" enables easy and convenient PC / Mac control.
