Precise Treble Reproduction through Aluminum Dome

The specially developed 1-inch aluminum tweeter is characterized by extreme stiffness and low weight. These material properties enable accurate reproduction of high frequencies with fine nuances. The design also ensures wide dispersion and improved power handling compared to previous generations.

Powerful Dynamics with Aramid Fiber Woofers

The newly developed 6.5-inch woofer made of aramid fiber offers an excellent strength-to-weight ratio as well as advantageous damping properties. In combination with oversized magnets and a 1.5-inch voice coil, this results in precise, powerful bass reproduction and clean mid-range representation with minimal distortion.

Low-Resonance Enclosure through Strategic Bracing

To prevent sound distortion due to cabinet vibrations, the Debut 3.0 Series features strategically placed internal bracing. This reinforces the structure of the 16 mm thick MDF cabinet, minimizes unwanted resonances, and ensures that sound is primarily emitted by the drivers and not the cabinet itself.

Modern Design and Functional Aesthetics

The speakers follow a minimalist design language with a black ash decor and a satin-matte front baffle. A special feature is the magnetically attached front grilles, which allow for a clean look without visible drill holes or brackets – ideal for users who prefer the look of exposed drivers.

FAQ

How should the speakers be optimally positioned?
For the best performance, it is recommended to place the speakers approximately 30 to 60 cm (1-2 feet) away from walls and especially corners. Placing them too close to the back wall reinforces the bass, but can lead to an unnatural sound.

Can the speakers be used for surround sound?
Yes, the DB63 is suitable as both a front and a surround speaker. When used as surround speakers, they should ideally be placed slightly wider than the front speakers and at the same height or slightly above the position of the front speakers.

What is the best way to clean the cabinet?
Cleaning should only be done with a soft, smooth cloth or a duster. Abrasive cleaners, alcohol, gasoline, or furniture polishes must not be used, as they can damage the surface.
