The S10.2 was developed as an ideal complement to the Debut 2.0 loudspeaker series to provide a solid low-frequency foundation for music and film soundtracks. By extending the frequency range downwards, the sound experience is not only audible, but also perceptible as a physical presence in the room.

Efficient BASH amplifier technology

Inside, a BASH tracking amplifier combines the sound quality of a classic Class A/B amplifier with the efficiency of a Class D circuit. The amplifier continuously adjusts the supply voltage to the input signal, which makes operation extremely efficient while providing the necessary dynamic power for demanding passages.

Custom-made high-excursion woofer

The heart of the system is a 10-inch woofer with a doped paper cone. Designed as a long-throw chassis, it delivers the necessary quality and quantity of bass to reproduce modern soundtracks and complex pieces of music accurately and powerfully.

Low-resonance enclosure with bass reflex system

The MDF enclosure is equipped with horizontal bracing that minimizes unwanted vibrations and enclosure discoloration. Two specially shaped bass reflex ports (Dual Flared Port) support precise low-frequency reproduction without flow noise or distortion.

Intelligent automatic functions

For convenient operation, the subwoofer has automatic signal detection. The device switches on automatically as soon as an audio signal is present, and automatically switches to standby mode after a longer period of inactivity to save energy.

FAQ

Where should the subwoofer ideally be placed?
In most cases, placement in a front corner of the room provides the best bass support and avoids acoustic cancellations. If the bass is too dominant there, placement along one of the side walls near the front of the room can be tried.

How is the subwoofer connected to an AV receiver?
Connection is made via an RCA cable (not included). This connects the LFE or subwoofer output of the receiver to the left RCA input on the subwoofer.

Does the subwoofer have phase adjustment?
Yes, there is a phase switch (0 / 180 degrees) on the rear. This allows the subwoofer's polarity to be matched to the main speakers to achieve a homogeneous sound image.

Can spikes be used?
Yes, the device can be leveled with spikes or non-slip feet. On carpeted floors, spikes can additionally improve stability.
