The SUB3010 was developed as an ideal complement to the Debut 2.0 series, to give soundtracks and music pieces tangible depth. It delivers enormous performance in a compact housing and ensures a realistic and powerful reproduction of low frequencies.

Intelligent App Control and Auto EQ

Instead of traditional analog controls, the subwoofer uses an advanced digital control system. The room EQ can be automatically optimized via the ELAC SubEQ app and a smartphone's microphone. The system uses eight parametric curves for correction, and a completely manual adjustment of volume, crossover frequency, and phase is also possible.

Efficient BASH Amplifier Technology

The integrated BASH tracking amplifier combines the sound quality of a Class A/B amplifier with the efficiency of a Class D circuit. It dynamically adjusts the supply voltage to the input signal, which makes the amplifier extremely efficient while providing the necessary power reserve for dynamic film and music scenes.

Optimized Driver Combination

A custom-made 10-inch high-excursion woofer in combination with a 10-inch passive radiator ensures accurate reproduction of demanding low-frequency passages. The passive radiator improves the transient response and increases the overall efficiency of the system.

Low-Resonance Enclosure

The enclosure, made of CARB2-certified MDF, features horizontal center bracing. This stiffens the construction and minimizes unwanted vibrations that could color the sound, allowing the low frequencies to be reproduced precisely and without distortion.

Is a smartphone absolutely necessary for operation?
Yes, to set up and control the advanced functions such as EQ, phase, and volume, a Bluetooth 4.0-enabled Android or iOS device with the "ELAC SUB Control 2.0" app is required.

What should I do if the app asks for a code?
If the mobile device requests a four-digit code during the pairing process, use the combination "0000".

Where should the subwoofer be placed for best results?
Ideally, the subwoofer should be placed in a front corner of the room to avoid acoustic bass reduction (null zones). The integrated phase and delay functions also help with optimal tuning at the placement location.

How is the subwoofer connected?
With an AV receiver with a subwoofer output, the connection is made via an RCA cable to the right RCA input. For systems without a dedicated output, both RCA inputs (L/R) are used.
