Efficient BASH Amplifier Technology

Inside, a BASH tracking amplifier combines the sound quality of a classic Class AB amplifier with the efficiency of a Class D circuit. By continuously adapting the supply voltage to the input signal, an enormous power reserve is provided for dynamic peaks in movies and music, while unwanted interference is minimized.

Powerful Reproduction through Passive Radiator System

The combination of a specially developed 12-inch long-throw woofer and an additional 12-inch passive radiator ensures increased efficiency and improved transient response. This system allows for precise reproduction of the deepest frequencies without the flow noise typically associated with conventional bass reflex systems.

Intelligent App Control and Auto-EQ

Instead of analog controls, the SUB3030 uses a digital control system. Via the ELAC SubEQ App and a Bluetooth 4.0 connection, the subwoofer can be conveniently configured from the listening position. The Auto-EQ function uses the smartphone's microphone to automatically analyze the room acoustics and optimally adjust the sound using eight parametric curves.

Low-Resonance Enclosure Design

The enclosure is made of reinforced MDF and features internal horizontal bracing. This construction minimizes unwanted vibrations and cabinet resonances that could color the sound. The result is clean and precise bass reproduction without ringing or distortion.

What are the requirements for app control?
A smartphone or tablet with Android or iOS and Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy support is required for setup and operation.

What should I do if the app asks for a pairing code?
If a four-digit code is requested during the connection process, use the combination "0000".

How is the device cleaned?
Cleaning should only be done with a soft cloth or a dust brush. Abrasives, alcohol, gasoline, or furniture polish must not be used.

Where is the ideal placement for the subwoofer?
Often, placement in a room corner provides the best bass output. Alternatively, it can be placed against a sidewall in the front of the room. The integrated phase and delay functions help with fine-tuning.

What happens in case of overload?
Extreme overloads due to very high volumes can damage components. The device should never be operated unsupervised under such conditions.
