ESS SABRE ES9028PRO D/A Converter and High
Output Power
Key features of the Michi X3 Series 2 include the ESS SABRE ES9028PRO 8-channel D/A converter and high output power. The D/A converter is configured with four dedicated channels per side to reduce noise floor and distortion and create a wide soundstage.
Analog, Digital, and Wireless Sources
The Michi X3 Series 2 processes analog high-level inputs, balanced XLR inputs, three coaxial and three optical digital inputs, PC-USB, and aptX™ HD and AAC Bluetooth. Additionally, there is a phono input for Moving Magnet systems, allowing vinyl to be seamlessly integrated.
Roon Tested
The Michi X3 Series 2 is Roon Tested. This feature makes the model particularly interesting for setups where classic sources and computer-based playback are to be combined in one device.
PC-USB, MQA, and Digital Section
Via PC-USB, the integrated amplifier supports USB Audio Class 1.0 and USB Audio Class 2.0, as well as MQA, MQA Studio, DSD, and DoP.

The elegant industrial design, the large graphic display, the controls on the front panel, and the included IR remote control ensure uncomplicated daily operation. At the same time, RS232, Ethernet, 12V triggers, EXT REM IN, preamp output, and MONO SUB outputs expand the range of applications towards automation and control systems.

The dual platinum-plated speaker terminals allow bi-wiring as well as classic speaker connection. For headphone listening, a 6.35 mm headphone jack is available on the front.
