Port Tuning

The port tuning of the SVS PB-3000 R|Evolution is implemented using the included foam plugs: In standard mode, the bass reflex ports remain open, which means the subwoofer is designed for a frequency response of 16 Hz to 235 Hz; for closed mode, the foam plugs are fully inserted into the ports, changing the tuning to 17 Hz to 270 Hz. This allows the subwoofer to be adapted to the room, placement, and listening preference, for example, if less bass reflex support and a more sealed reproduction are preferred. The appropriate operating mode is also selected as standard or sealed via the SVS app or the subwoofer settings, so that mechanical port tuning and electronic settings match.

13-inch High-Excursion Driver

The front-firing 13-inch long-throw driver is designed for large diaphragm movements. The combination of aluminum cone, ferrite magnet motor, Nomex spiders, and precise excursion supports controlled bass even at high volumes.

Sledge STA-1200D

The Class-D amplifier Sledge STA-1200D is integrated.

DSP for Control and Clean Tuning

The DSP monitors and controls central subwoofer functions. Digital signal processing helps to precisely control performance, protection functions, and sound tuning.

App Control for Easy Adjustment

The SVS Subwoofer Control App is compatible with Apple iOS, Google Android, and Amazon Fire. The app allows you to manage volume, low-pass filter, phase, polarity, six parametric EQs, room gain compensation, tuning modes, and power settings.

Three Presets for Different Content

With three memory slots, settings for different applications can be stored. This allows the subwoofer to quickly switch between movie, music, or a custom setting.

Operation Directly on the Subwoofer

On the back is an OLED display with a user interface. Important settings such as volume, low-pass filter frequency, phase, power mode, display orientation, and factory settings are directly accessible on the device.

Connections for Home Theater and Stereo

The SVS PB-3000 R|Evolution can be integrated into home theater and stereo systems via RCA or XLR. The LFE input is provided for AV receivers, while left and right inputs can also be used for classic two-channel setups.

Integration of Multiple Subwoofers

Line-level outputs via RCA and XLR facilitate the integration of additional subwoofers. Multiple subwoofers can distribute bass more evenly in the listening area and reduce the localization of low frequencies.

Robust Enclosure for Stable Playback

The MDF enclosure with internal bracing is designed for low-resonance performance. Iso-elastomer feet reduce noise artifacts and improve stability.

Protection and Suitability for Everyday Use

The extra-thick ABS grille frame with cloth covering protects the driver from damage. The Premium Black Ash finish visually matches many home theater and hi-fi environments.
