JET 6 Air Motion Transformer for detailed treble resolution
The heart of the FS 287.2 is the JET 6 tweeter, handcrafted in Kiel, Germany. It operates with high impulse speed, wide dynamic range, and minimal distortion, significantly extending the frequency range compared to conventional dome tweeters. A metal plate with five slots protects the tweeter and also serves as a waveguide.
2½-way bass reflex with aluminum sandwich woofers
Two 150-mm AS (aluminum sandwich) woofers handle the bass and mid-bass in a 2½-way configuration. The diaphragm construction combines low weight and high rigidity with internal damping, supporting clean, precise reproduction without unwanted resonances. The bass reflex design is optimized for a deep frequency response down to 30 Hz.
Timeless design in high gloss, solidly built
The cuboid cabinet made of solid MDF with a slightly curved baffle and rounded edges has a deliberately reduced appearance and blends harmoniously into any living environment. Available finishes include Black High Gloss and White High Gloss.
Solid stand and clean integration into the setup
A robust aluminum base with side outriggers and spikes ensures high stability. At the rear, a recessed bi-wiring terminal with large, gold-plated screw terminals is provided, designed for banana plugs and bare speaker wires.
