The SUPER LINTON loudspeakers are the result of intensive development work carried out by Peter Comeau, Director of Acoustic Design, and his team. The team has rethought and refined every aspect of the loudspeaker: from the cabinet to the drivers to the crossover. The result is a loudspeaker that impresses with its musicality and detail, raising the high standard of the Heritage Series to a new level.
Improved Construction and Superior Sound Quality
The new SUPER LINTON goes even further in terms of performance and craftsmanship than the popular LINTON. It features an enlarged sandwich-design cabinet, consisting of two layers of MDF and an acoustic damping layer to minimize resonances. This construction not only gives the loudspeaker stability but also exceptional bass reproduction, reaching down to 32 Hz.
A newly developed bass driver with a more powerful motor provides dramatic and powerful bass, while the tweeter with a fabric dome and ceramic magnet ensures crystal-clear highs. The optimized horn profile and redesigned front panel ensure an even distribution of high frequencies and impressive detail.
For Natural Vocal Reproduction
The midrange cabinet has also been redesigned to avoid disruptive backwaves. The multi-layer damping with long fibers brings vocals and instruments clearly and presentably to the fore, making the SUPER LINTON ideal for the reproduction of natural voices.
Design and Adaptation
Visually, the SUPER LINTON remains true to its "LINTON DNA" look and features only a moderate adjustment in cabinet size. It is 50 mm taller than the current LINTON model, but can still be placed on the same LINTON stand – including storage space for records, which delights many music lovers.
