The ELAC Varro RS700 is a reference active subwoofer for music and film playback. It complements existing HiFi and home cinema systems with deep, voluminous bass and is designed for users who want more foundation and presence in the room.

The RS700 is designed for dynamic deep bass and room-filling sound. Especially with film sound, electronic music or bass-heavy live recordings, it provides more pressure without the need to replace the rest of the system.

The active subwoofer is suitable for users who want more depth, more body in the sound and easier integration into the room in home cinema or HiFi systems. It is particularly useful when powerful bass is desired, but the setup remains difficult visually or acoustically.
Easy adaptation to the room
Setting up a subwoofer is often the most difficult part in everyday life. With Auto EQ or Auto Room EQ, the RS700 can independently optimize room correction using the Sub Control 3.0 app and the smartphone's microphone, which creates more freedom in positioning in the room.
App control instead of cumbersome operation on the device
The subwoofer is controlled via an app for iOS and Android. This allows settings to be conveniently adjusted from the sofa.
Wireless Ready for more flexible integration
The RS700 has an integrated wireless receiver for the ELAC AirX2. With the optional wireless transmitter, up to three subwoofers can be connected wirelessly, which facilitates integration into living spaces.
Solid construction for controlled playback
The housing is acoustically optimized, 30 mm thick, insulated with polyester wool and provided with stiffening frames. This construction reduces unwanted resonances and supports clean, controlled bass reproduction.
Powerful technology for high levels
Inside, a BASH amplifier and a DualCore 28-bit DSP with 147 MHz work. Signal processing takes place with high accuracy and low latency, while the amplifier technology provides high power and is designed for efficiency.
