Vela Line: Sound Meets Design in the Living Room
The Vela line combines over 95 years of acoustic expertise and design in high-gloss lacquered or real wood veneer cabinets with a trapezoidal cross-section. The angled cabinet shape and convex baffle curvature aim for improved stereo and multi-channel imaging in modern living environments and reduce baffle reflections.
JET 6: AMT Tweeter with Exceptional Fine Resolution
At its heart is the JET 6 tweeter (Air Motion Transformer), developed and built in Kiel. The extended frequency range up to over 50 kHz, low distortion, high headroom, and ultra-fast impulse response ensure remarkable clarity, fine resolution, and subtle dynamics in the treble.
AS-XR Crystal Membrane: Precise Bass from Compact Cabinets
The 180mm woofer utilizes AS-XR technology (Aluminum-Sandwich – Extended Range). The combination of high torsional rigidity of the aluminum cone and internal damping of the pulp membrane supports clean, precise reproduction without unwanted resonances and is designed for "lots of bass from small cabinets."
Downfiring Bass Reflex: More Freedom in Placement
The downward-firing bass reflex port reduces ventilation noise and increases flexibility in placement. A cast aluminum base with a double-rounded downfiring bass reflex tube supports this concept.
Bi-Wiring & Bi-Amping: Connection Options for Ambitious Setups
Bi-wiring and bi-amping are possible. Double terminals with shorting bridges allow the high/mid-range section to be separated from the bass section, enabling separate cabling or separate amplification for both areas.
