2.0 series, the FS 407.2 stands for innovation "Made in Germany". Developed
and manufactured in Kiel, it embodies the perfect balance of technical
precision, craftsmanship and modern design.
JET 6
– Perfect Treble
The heart of the FS 407.2 is the newly
developed JET 6 tweeter, based on ELAC's own Air Motion Transformer. This
technology transforms electrical signals into the finest vibrations, ensuring
exceptionally detailed, natural treble reproduction – free from harshness and
distortion.
AS-XR woofer with
crystal membrane
Two 150 mm drivers with AS-XR technology and
aluminum crystal membrane deliver dynamic, deep bass with impressive precision.
Their special sandwich construction prevents unwanted resonances and enables a
harmonious interplay between bass and treble.
Sound Architecture &
Cabinet Design
The trapezoidal, slightly rearward-sloping cabinet
not only improves the visual appearance, but also the temporal alignment between
the chassis. The combination of rear and bottom bass reflex systems ensures a
voluminous, controlled sound with even room illumination – ideal for medium to
large living rooms.
Stability &
Connectivity
The massive aluminum base with height-adjustable
spikes provides a solid foundation and minimizes vibrations. The gold-plated
multi-wiring terminals allow both single and bi-wiring configurations and offer
maximum flexibility in system integration.
