Technology & Sound

The SU-G700M2's all-digital signal architecture is based on the JENO Engine (Jitter Elimination and Noise Shaping Optimisation), which completely eliminates unwanted clock deviations. LAPC (Load Adaptive Phase Calibration) technology automatically adapts the amplifier to the acoustic characteristics of the connected loudspeakers – for a consistent phase relationship and accurate sound reproduction.

The ultra-fast hybrid switching power supply operates at a fixed switching frequency of 400 kHz and ensures clean energy supply without disruptive load fluctuations through precise voltage regulation. The battery-powered clock generator isolates sensitive circuits from the mains, thus reducing interference noise to a minimum.

A Class-AA headphone amplifier with separate voltage and current amplification ensures particularly natural reproduction via headphones – regardless of their impedance.

Design & Workmanship

The SU-G700M2's chassis is divided into three separate sections: power supply, amplifier, and input stage are isolated from each other to prevent interference. The robust double chassis made of 1.2 mm and 2 mm thick steel plate ensures maximum rigidity and low vibration.

The 7 mm thick aluminum front panel protects against electromagnetic influences and underlines the device's high-quality appearance. This elevates not only the sound quality but also the mechanical stability to reference level.

Connections & Operation

The SU-G700M2 is optimally equipped for both digital and analog sources.
In addition to two optical and two coaxial digital inputs, a USB-B port is available for high-resolution audio transmission from a PC. For vinyl enthusiasts, the amplifier offers a precise phono input for MM and MC cartridges.

Two line inputs, one line and one pre-out output, and a 6.3 mm headphone output complete the versatile connectivity. Control is conveniently performed via the included remote control.
