Integrated Amplifier for Stereo Systems
The MOON 250i v2 is a six-input stereo integrated amplifier. It is therefore suitable for hi-fi systems in which various devices such as: CD player, DAC, TV, turntable, and portable media players are to be combined in one device.
Phono Input and Headphone Output
The integrated phono input is designed for turntables with MM cartridges. Additionally, a 6.35 mm headphone output is located on the front; the "Spk off" function allows the speaker signal to be switched off when listening, so that sound can only be enjoyed through headphones.
Performance and Construction
With 50 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 100 watts per channel into 4 ohms, the amplifier is designed for classic stereo setups. The torsion-resistant chassis reduces the influence of external vibrations, and the proprietary MOON Bipolar Output Transistors are designed for precise reproduction and improved bass response.
Operation and Integration
Operation remains clear: input selection, volume, mute and speaker cutoff are located directly on the front. PRE OUT, SimLink, IR input and RS-232 facilitate integration into larger hi-fi or control setups; in standby mode, the audio circuits remain powered, and input and volume settings are saved for the next use.
