The Bowers & Wilkins 804 D5 brings the sound philosophy of the 800 Diamond Series into a compact floor-standing speaker design. It is aimed at music lovers who want an intense listening experience but do not want to rely on a particularly large speaker concept.
3-way bass reflex system for demanding Hi-Fi
The 804 D5 is constructed as a 3-way bass reflex system. Tweeters, mid-range drivers, and bass units each take on their own tasks so that music can be reproduced in a structured, spatial, and comprehensible manner.
Precision through diamond dome tweeters
The diamond dome tweeter sits in the well-known Tweeter-on-Top design, meaning it is visibly mounted externally on the cabinet. This construction ensures particularly precise high-frequency reproduction and an open spatial feel in the 804 D5.
Voices and instruments with natural fidelity
For the mid-range, a Continuum diaphragm is used in a new aluminum mid-range housing. This allows voices and instruments to be reproduced clearly, focused, and with rich detail, which particularly shines with acoustic music, jazz, classical music, and high-quality studio recordings.
Powerful bass in the Reverse-Wrap cabinet for controlled reproduction
Two Aerofoil bass units operate in the permanently installed Reverse-Wrap cabinet. Complemented by Flowport and Matrix design, this creates a speaker concept designed for low cabinet resonances and clean, controlled reproduction.

The 804 D5 is designed for a breathtaking listening experience in a smaller space. Room sizes between 20 m² and 45 m² are ideal to unleash the full potential in the bass range and depth staging.
